Lovely and very rare wooden table designed by Vittorio Introini in the 1970s for the fine Italian manufacture Sormani.
The table is rare indeed, it is entirely made of a fabulous dark precious wood.
The base is made up of two rectangular panels fitted together nicely so as to create an obvious X.
The closed table has a very simple square shape, but its rarity lies precisely in the fact that you can see the opening panels, since it is a size adjustable table.
In fact, for each corner there is a triangle that can be opened; opening all 4 creates a square twice as large as when closed, leaving the rhomboid shape centrally.
The table is of unparalleled fineness, a must-have.
