Item description

1980s Kare Spain moon lamp. A Verner Panton design for Louis Poulsen. Made of plastic slats, arranged in concentric circles, on a pivotal chrome sphere. The slats can be rearranged to represent the shapes of the moon at various lunar intervals. The slats also serve as reflectors to either expose or hide the bulb. The lamp gives off the most beautiful light when lit. The colour is white. The lamp could benefit from the use of coloured bulb. A great design echoing the 1960s atomic era. In excellent vintage condition some signs commensurate with age. Please see images as they form part of the description. Fitted with a standard European 2 prong plug head and on/off switch. Uses E26 bulb. Height-38cm x Width-32cm
