Beautiful sideboard with rosewood riser finely inlaid with precious woods in the Maggiolini style, 19th century, Italy. A sideboard of great elegance and visual impact, floral decorations and country scenes with peasants and cherubs, the two columns on the riser with three smaller drawers, two larger drawers positioned centrally above the two low doors opening onto two shelves, working keys. Giuseppe Maggiolini was a master cabinetmaker at the court of first the Habsburgs of Austria and then Napoleon Bonaparte. His are the decorations and furniture for the Villa Reale in Monza.
