Extraordinary solid wood game table of Brazilian manufacture from the early 1950s. The table, as can be seen from the photos, is made entirely of wood with essential and geometric shapes, where the lines give life to the actual object in a functional and severe manner. On the sides of the table one can see four niches that served as ashtrays for cigarettes at the time. In reality, this splendid table started out as a game table, but can be used again as a breakfast table or for small dining corners. Its perfectly rounded feet create harmony with the entire structure. The table is in the Arte Povera style, where essentiality is the focus of the whole object. This style is purely devoid of inlays, almost approaching the warm, rustic style reminiscent of the retro furniture of simple, rural homes. The table, given its imperial simplicity, is ideal for country houses, chalets or natural chic and minimalist interiors.
