Five Alfa model chairs produced by Molteni in 2001 to a design by Hannes Wettstein for the Italian company.
Alfa was created by combining only two pieces: one is the backrest that continues into the rear legs, the other is the seat that extends into the front legs.
Both pieces are made of 'SMC', a fibreglass-reinforced resin-polyester composite material, and are finished in matt black paint. Under the seat we notice the original Molteni label. The lines of the chairs are very geometric with a great clean and essential design. The legs come to life through a pyramid line. The set is ideal for modern living rooms and geometric and essential environments. It won the ICFF Editors Award (USA) in 2001.
