Item description

Rare ceramic tea service with Futurist-style decoration consisting of two cups, teapot, sugar bowl and tray. 1930s, made by Carraresi and Lucchesi. Polychrome ceramic. All pieces have a globular shape with bridge-shaped lids and cavities. The decoration consists of minute serpentine shapes and shading obtained with the airbrush. Black on an orange background, marked 'Carraresi e Lucchesi Sesto Fiorentino' Futurist ceramics (Art Deco).
