Space Age wall or ceiling lamp in metal and glass by Gaetano Sciolari for Stilkronen, 1960s. Three lamps available (price per piece). They came from a major lighting store in Italy that was closing down. Sciolari was a designer known for his elegant and modern lighting designs, particularly during the mid-20th century. These wall or ceiling lamps feature a combination of chrome, aluminum and glass. Chrome was a popular material during this period for its futuristic and reflective properties. The aluminum components contribute lightness and modernity. The glass element is well integrated into the design contributing to the overall modern aesthetic while diffusing light in an interesting way. Sciolari was known for his minimalist yet functional designs.
