Item description

Invicta manual portable typewriter with case, 1930s. Production since 1938. Design: Aldo Magnelli. Mechanical design: Riccardo Levi. Black hammered metal body. Keyboard: 43 keys corresponding to 86 signs. Line spacing: three positions plus zero. Absent column tool. Model produced by the Invicta factory in Turin under license from Olivetti using the structure and mechanics of the Olivetti Mp 1. The serial number is engraved on the structure bar (lower part); to view it, the typewriter must be lifted from the base.
