Item description

Venetian flap desk completely panelled in walnut, walnut root and maple inlay. It has a wavy front and sides, three large front drawers, flap door with four internal drawers and central flap. Moulded shelf feet. Brass pendant handles, flap lock working with its own key. Furniture of great build quality and particular elegance. Ideal as living room/bedroom furniture that can also be used as a writing desk. Very good condition, recently restored. Mid-20th century Italian production - Veneto area. Measurements: 120 cm x 48 cm x 97 cm height, 65 cm depth to open cupboard, 77 cm height to writing surface.
