Not to be missed

Save-the-date, Parma's trade show Mercanteinfiera is almost here.

It is the most significant modern and antiques trade show in Europe, attended by collectors and interior designers from all over the world, and is a "must" for all those who are passionate about vintage and one-of-a-kind objects. intOndo awaits you from 5 to 13 October in at Mercanteinfiera, Parma (Italy), Hall 4, Stand D0264.

The autumn edition of the Mercanteinfiera returns from October 5th to October 13, 2019 at the Fiere di Parma. This is the meeting place for decor enthusiasts, architects, interior designers, artists, journalists, successful managers and cool hunters in search of ideas for their projects.

It is almost impossible to tell the story of the objects proposed by the almost 1000 exhibitors who gather here every year from all over Italy and the world, bringing with them the best of their collections. There will certainly be refined antique furniture, miniatures and paintings, but this is also the right place to find rare outdoor furniture and decorative objects ranging from seventeenth century to contemporary. Collectors, who usually come during the first days of the fair, go hunting for original design pieces and or great classics such as Italian design chairs or Murano glass pieces. On the other hand, mid-century furniture and vintage are the sectors that have contributed to the success of the Mercanteinfiera since its first editions.

There is no doubt that a day spent at the fair will provide visitors with an experience full of inspiration and fun, but one day will probably not be enough to carefully explore the 45,000 square meters of stands, which feature not only furniture, but also vintage clothing, vintage cars, original Vespas and some themed exhibitions.

This year for example, the Mercanteinfiera presents the exhibition "In her Shoes. A walk in the history of footwear" in collaboration with the Footwear Museum of Villa Foscarini Rossi, which will show manufacture of shoes in Venice and some ot its iconic fashion footwear. From the footwear of the noble Venetian women of the late 17th century to the sandal by British Nicholas Kirkwood which was inspired by Blade Runner, passing through Dior, Fendi and the surrealist shoe of Celine. There will also be a careful selection of photographs from the Bonanni Del Rio Collection: 80 pictures by the best Italian photographers, such as Luigi Ghirri, Olivo Barbieri, Massimo Vitali, Franco Fontana. Don't miss these two exhibitions at Hall 4.

Finally, this trade show has always been the ideal place to meet new operators in the sector and this year intOndo will be there together with new customers and sellers. As the online market of vintage furniture we aim to bring a fresh and digital vibe to this sector and we could not miss the Mercanteinfiera. We can't wait to meet you at Hall 4, booth D0264. Come to see many items from the best Italian sellers and discover the yungests side of the Mercanteinfiera.
