When sustainability is part of your DNA

Circular Economy, how to look forward to the future, creating new processes and putting them in place: find out why being more sustainable is a must for us.

Starting with its brand name, intOndo has in its DNA the idea of promoting the choice of vintage furniture as a valid alternative to new commercial productions, focusing on the reuse of objects designed to last over time. These objects are able to conquer new environments thanks to the eye of the expert selective Seller who knows how to recognize quality and looks beyond trends, and also thanks to the taste of the prepared Buyer who intends to make his home unique.

The basic principle is therefore to extend the life of objects and encourage the circular economy, that is, an economic model that does not involve new production or the production of waste through the enhancement and care of existing objects. This principle combines well with a careful selection that draws on a heritage of objects that we like to call "timeless design" and that also constitutes a lasting investment.

Let's face it, nowadays talking about sustainability is mainstream, but it's easy to slip into the inconsistency of the facts and end up doing "green washing", or the widespread business practice of riding the wave of responsible consumption exclusively for marketing purposes and without any real impact on the environment.

At intOndo we are fully aware that the path to turning a purchase into a 100% sustainable act is complex and not without challenges: in our case, it means involving the entire sales process from technological infrastructure to marketing, from packaging to logistics, that is hundreds of actors.

We confirm that we are just at the beginning, and also that our genetic code pushes us to continue this model by spreading the culture of reuse, recovery, restoration, and applying all the necessary actions to the growth of intOndo and its community in a sustainable way.
