Until 26 December it will be possible, at the Achille Castiglioni Foundation in Milan, to visit "1962, marble blocks, broomsticks and other stories", an exhibition that offers new insights into the architectural and design projects created by the Castiglioni brothers, thanks to the recontextualization of a great deal of the foundation's archive materials.

Why 1962? This was indeed a crucial year for the Catiglioni production: it was in fact at this stage that some of the most iconic creations by Castiglioni brothers were born, such as the famous Arco lamp, the Giro armchair and the Pitagora coffee machine for Cimbali. And other much sought-after lamps, such as Relemme, Taccia, Toio and Ventosa.

Inside the meeting room of the Foundation, a selection of projects between architecture and installations is presented, all made exactly 60 years ago. In describing the exhibition, curator Marco Marzini explained that "the exhibition is recommended to those who arrive by chance, to professionals, to those who are attentive, to the hasty, to the scrupulous, to the emotional, to the serious, to the fussy, to the curious, to grown up children and child at heart adults... we are waiting for you!
