How did Surrealism influence everyday design? London Design Museum unveils "Objects of Desire: Surrealism and design 1924 - Today", on view from October 14 until February 19.

Curated with Vitra Design Museum, the show explores how Surrealism has encouraged designers of all ages to examine the reality beneath what is visible.

Works on show span from the genius of René Magritte, Salvador Dalì, Man Ray, up to contemporary surrealist responses by Gae Aulenti, Sarah Lucas, Dior, Björk, and many more... Surrealist artworks and design objects are juxtaposed to reveal fascinating parallels and cross-references between art, design and fashion.
