Ole Wanscher was an architect and professor of architecture specialising in furniture design. Ole Wanscher was mainly influenced by Professor Kaare Klint, with whom he worked from 1924 to 1927. Today, his furniture is considered modern classics, made with an unusual eye for detail. Characteristic of Ole Wanscher's designs is the search for slim dimensions and strong shapes. This sofa was produced by A.J. Iversen in the 1950s. The sofa has a light green fabric cover on mahogany feet. A typical piece of Scandinavian modernity that fits into any interior. Good condition, signs of wear due to age.
