Please read the entire description carefully, as we aim to provide detailed technical and historical information to ensure the authenticity of our objects. This substantial and streamlined Murano glass vase is distinguished by its harmonious blend of two colors: blue and transparent. The design is characterized by sharp, decisive cuts and accentuated edges. Although the vase lacks an attribution mark or proof of authenticity, we can confidently attribute it to the Mandruzzato firm, as it is well-documented in design history. The vase was produced in Murano between 1960 and 1964 using the submerged glass technique, an ancient process that, starting from blown or solid glass, allows for multiple overlapping layers of different colors, creating a striking chromatic effect. This effect is achieved by immersing the glass in crucibles containing different colors, a complex operation performed exclusively by highly skilled Master Glassmakers. The Mandruzzato company, founded in 1934, has carried on a family legacy for generations, creating unique furniture and design pieces. Its craftsmen, true Masters of Glass, have established the company as one of Murano's finest. In 2000, the leadership of the company passed to Alessandro Mandruzzato, a Master Glassmaker born in 1970, who, by developing and modifying both traditional and innovative techniques, creates unique objects in collaboration with renowned designers, while always honoring tradition. Our vase belongs to the traditional period of the Mandruzzato company but stands out with its simple yet modern design, featuring a unique geometric shape and exceptionally pure, vibrant colors. The vase is in excellent overall condition. Measurements: width 11 cm, depth 11 cm, height 28 cm. For all our shipments, we use special packaging materials (wooden crates, styrofoam, etc.) to ensure maximum protection and safety of the objects.
