This is an authentic, original African sculpture in light wood, dating back two centuries. According to Gigi Pezzoli (CSAA president) it belongs to the Fon culture of Benin. It portrays a woman holding her breasts with her hands: a sacrificial patina typical of the Gulf of Guinea.
