Winged cherub, Napoleon III sculpture in alabaster, 19th century
Description: Ancient alabaster sculpture depicting a winged cherub belonging to the Napoleon III period of the second half of the nineteenth century. The statue is raised by an oval base with a design of the rocky terrain, where the putto is sitting on a rock. The putto looks joyfully at a butterfly resting on his right arm, assuming a sweet and sensual pose.
