Description: Ancient alabaster sculpture depicting a winged cherub belonging to the Napoleon III period of the second half of the nineteenth century. The statue is raised by an oval base with a design of the rocky terrain, where the putto is sitting on a rock. The putto looks joyfully at a butterfly resting on his right arm, assuming a sweet and sensual pose. The work is of great value and of high sculptural quality highlighted in the attention to anatomical details. Provenance: 19th century France. General condition: good. Measurements: 30x30 H66cm. Document: certificate of authenticity.
