Executive brass desk lamp designed by Eileen Gray for the French manufacturer Jumo in 1935.Adjustable arm and shade in black lacquered metal and brass. Two-light bayonet bulbs. Switch is located on base. The double arm can be tilted both forwards and backwards and the reflector screen can be rotated with its own axis Eileen Gray is one of 20th-century design’s most influential women. Today, her work is among the most highly sought-after work on the market, collected by major institutions such as the Centre Pompidou, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The National Museum of Ireland. Yves Saint Laurent was one of her most noteworthy private collectors. Excellent conditions, consistent with age and use. Perfectly functioning.
