This elegant and sophisticated pair of vintage Italian wall sconces is crafted from polished and nickel-plated brass. Each sconce features a sturdy metal frame with two shaped brackets at its ends, supporting seven crystal panels connected by slender curved tubes. The two brackets are joined by a central plate that houses the single light socket. Electrical wires run through this back plate, allowing for both power supply and secure wall mounting. The seven finely shaped crystal panels alternate in color: three have a vibrant, luminous yellow hue, while the remaining four are clear. All extend outward in a petal-like arrangement, resembling the delicate shape of a flower. The light disperses beautifully through the panels, creating a captivating interplay of reflections and illumination. Produced between 1970 and 1973 by Veca (both sconces retain their original adhesive labels), these fixtures may have been created in collaboration with Fontana Arte.
