Chest of drawers in carved cherry wood and white marble top, 18th century
Louis XVI 2 drawers chest made in Piemont in the late 18th century with white marble of Carrara top. The essence used is solid cherry wood, while the interiors are in larch. In addition to the peculiarity of the two drawers, which make it more elegant, the unusuality of the model is evident in the workmanship of the carved parts of the furniture: "greche" on the chains, "ramage" and grooves on the uprights and drips on the top of the feet of a truncated pyramid. The handles, nozzles and locks are in bronze. The conservation is very good, the structure is healthy and needs, if desired, some small touch-ups and a possible polishing.
