Item description
The six Iris chairs, made of light beech, are in good condition with slight signs of wear on the lower legs. The wood has a warm tone and perfectly harmonizes with the black eco -leather seats. Seat coverings are in excellent condition. The unusual shape of the chairs is dominated by the narrow and long back in a single piece and the front legs positioned transversely, which recall the Asian minimalist design. The chairs were designed by the Belgian designer Bob Van Den Berghe in the early 80s for the Danish producer Tranekaer. Founded in 1974, Tranekaer has turned into an innovative producer with a strong attention to the highest level of craftsmanship thanks to the collaboration with famous designers such as Van Den Berghe, Ostervig and Wegner.
