Extraordinary example of session from the Italian office of the mid -century, this "gentian" chair was designed by Carlo Ratti in 1958 for the Lissone curved wood industry. Its elegant curved plywood shell offers ergonomic comfort, while the central metal column with chromed steel base and wheels guarantees a 360 ° swivel movement. The central leg is finished in glossy black enamel, in elegant contrast with the natural veins of the curved plywood. Recently restored with a traditional shelver buffer finish, this chair retains thin signs of the time that testify to its authentic history. Originally exhibited at the Curved wood chair museum, it is in good general condition and ready to adapt to any work space, vintage or contemporary.
