Empire chandelier, 1920s










Antique chandelier of French manufacture, an expression of the Empire style of the first decades of the 20th century. Its luminous architecture is distinguished by an elegant casing made up of delicate chains of cylindrical blown glass elements, gathered around a golden brass structure. The six arms in worked brass, whose spirals recall the classic ornamental motif of the acanthus leaf, support the candles designed for E14 bulbs. Using adapters easily available online, it is also possible to use bulbs with E12 socket and various other types.
