Made as the Samara modular collection of Vries, this splendid piece of Dutch design behaves very well alone. It shows off the characteristic changed angles, the impeccable woodworking and the intertwining of Viennese straw, and has been doing it for at least half a century without being aged a lot. The time has come to make another applause to what was certainly a "Eureka" moment for Derk and that gave birth to a truly timeless design.
