Elegant two -seater sofa designed by Sapporo for Mobil Girgi - Italy, 70s
This extraordinary two -seater sofa represents a perfect balance between constructive rigor and comfort, an authentic expression of the best Italian design of the 70s. Produced by Mobil Girgi on a project by Sapporo, it stands out for the quality of the materials, the solidity of the structure and the essential but sophisticated aesthetic.
The structure is entirely made of valuable solid wood, worked with skill to create an architectural game of joints and angled profiles. A detail of great elegance is the rear backrest, also visible on the side behind, made in a single shaped noble wood band, which in addition to guaranteeing structural solidity gives the sofa a sculptural appearance, making it perfect also to be placed in the center of the room.
The cushions, both of the seat and the back, have been refined in a refined mixed lino-cotton fabric brown chocolate, chosen for its natural texture and for the sober elegance that gives the whole. The generous padding ensures high comfort, making the ideal sofa not only to be admired, but also to be lived daily.
A piece of strong character, perfect for enriching design environments, contemporary living room, elegant entrance spaces or representative studies, where you want an authentic and sought after touch of Italian modernism.
