Item description

This bamboo and Rattan table/table was designed by Janine Abraham and Dirk-Jan Rol for Maison Rougier in France in the 1960s. This handmade object is in excellent condition and can easily be used as a table by adding a glass top. Janine Abraham (considered by many to be one of the first French women designers) and Dirk-Jan Rol are known for their iconic design, such as the revolutionary rattan armchairs, present in the collection of the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris. This extraordinary stool, like other works of this team of designer, has been inspired by both traditional Japanese architecture as well as by the American Mid-Century Modern design. Dimensions: Height 42 cm (16.5 inches) 60 cm diameter (23.6 inches) The price refers to a single stool. For the couple contact me.
