Precious Italian wall console of early eighteenth century, evolution from mature baroque to the first Rococo influences. "Serpentine" shaped crescent floor with moved edges and wavy profile, finely shaped lira legs with curls and volutes, combined with X crossbar on the back (probable rear addition for structural stability).
