The padding of the pillow and the frame is new and made of high density foam. The fiberglass hull has been polymerized. The milky white velvet coating completes the design and is beautifully combined with the surprising sculptural black base. Mim Roma (modern Italian furniture) ... was founded by ICO Parisi with the aim of integrating the visual arts with the design of furniture. Parisi has worked both as a designer and as creative director, collaborating with new visionary designers like Luigi Pellegrin. Mim produced furniture that incorporated new innovations and materials and became one of the main actors in the world of Italian postmodern design. The sofa is the first M.I.M. Production article, numbered in 1965. Both the sofa and the armchair are made up of three elements: - a base the base is made of fiberglass reinforced with ribs. - A frame the frame of the wooden backrest is then covered with fabric (velvet). The rear frame is attached to the fiberglass base using the guides. - A pillow The back pillow is designed and produced seamlessly, forming both the back and armrest in a single element.
