Rare Viennese polychrome bronze sculpture executed and signed by the artist Franz Xaver Bergman (1861-1936) at the end of the 19th century. The subject, very particular, deals with an Arab during the sale of a carpet. The details of the dress and the carpet, which has a quality and a polychromy that makes it seem real, are very accurate. The expression itself and the pose of the seller together with the folds of the carpet give further confirmation of the great quality. It has an excellent state of preservation.
