Pair of late 19th century bronze sculptures with a burnished green patina, representing two busts of a man and a woman, elderly, very expressive, wearing clothing and headgear of the period. The shape of the back, cut at 90 degrees, suggests use as a doorstop or bookend. Excellent state of preservation.
