"Take" lamp by Ferruccio Laviani for Kartell, 1990s - Italy
Emblematic lamp from the Kartell house, Take model, designed by Ferruccio Laviani. Made through an injection process of two flat, rectangular sheets of polycarbonate which become two-dimensional. The final product is therefore the union of two symmetrical parts that take on the shape and volume of the lamp. The inner surface of the screen is pleated to illuminate more interestingly. It is very light and easy to move, plus the matt black/brown polycarbonate makes it very elegant. It is a design icon, perfect for any environment, whether as a bedside lamp, or as a desk light, or in a corridor. The company seal and its name, "TAKE", appear in the lower area of the base.
