This is an elegant sofa in Italian walnut, characterized by a shaped and curved structure with high backrests and lateral and central scrolls. It is covered in a dark red damask fabric with a gold/ochre floral pattern, secured with metal studs. A decorative carving with scrolls enriches the lower front edge.
The style can be traced back to the early nineteenth century, probably between 1820 and 1850, with Biedermeier or Neoclassical/Empire influences.
The conditions are excellent, the wood has kept its original color alive.
