Item description

This antique Chinese style wooden console is characterized by the top with the ends rolled upwards. It has a rich aged patina, with the original dark red lacquer worn away exposing the orange wood underneath. The front is dominated by an intricate, perforated sculpture, depicting symbolic motifs, likely dragons or mythological creatures among clouds and foliage.
