Item description

This tall cabinet, probably an antique Chinese style sideboard or bar cabinet, is striking for its patinated dark red lacquering. The structure has an upper body with a compartment with shelves closed by doors, decorated with relief carvings depicting traditional scenes and accentuated by colored details and antique brass hardware with latch closure. Under the doors, there are three drawers with shell handles. The piece rests on a high base characterized by a complex open lattice structure, typical of oriental craftsmanship.
