Item description

These are two vintage-style wall sconces with chrome-plated metal, brass and iron frames. The smoky amber blown glass diffusers were handmade in Murano; each lamp consists of a vertical chrome-plated metal base fixed to the wall, from which a curved brass arm with a small decorative volute supports the cylindrical brass lamp holder, on which a flared cup-shaped glass with a slightly darkened edge is mounted; The glass has a soft shape, rounded at the bottom and more open towards the top, creating an elegant lantern effect; the lit lamp shows a warm light diffused through the amber glass. The materials display a patina of time, with the brass slightly oxidized and the glass perfectly intact; the overall style recalls deco and classical elements reinterpreted in a more modern key, with a harmonious combination of curves, metal, and warm glass.
