Large eclectic table with Italian-made Empire style motifs, possibly
Brianza, 1940s. Shaped red marble top with rounded sides, supported by a structure in
briar and maple wood carved and sculpted on the band and legs which are characterized by
the 4 figures in the shape of golden winged sphinxes connected through a central pilaster and resting on
onion feet. The table is complete with 8 chairs with backrests and upholstered seats in corduroy resting on tapered and turned legs with decorative motifs in
style. Part of a living room set complete with large sideboard and display cabinet in revival style.
