A splendid and authentic Tuscan table dating back to the 17th century, made entirely of solid walnut. This piece of furniture represents the quintessence of rural Tuscan Baroque carpentry, characterized by a solid structure, balanced proportions, and a warm, deep patina that only time can impart.
Main features:
Top: The top consists of two large, thick walnut boards, which show the beautiful grain of the wood and the natural marks of the centuries (knots and small imperfections that attest to its originality).
Under-top band: It has two large front drawers, embellished with original wooden frames and knobs.
Base: Supported by four baluster legs (turned into jars) with square connecting nuts. Stability is ensured by a sturdy central “H” crossbar, which rests on flattened onion feet.
Condition: The table is in good structural condition. The patina is original and the wood has undergone a natural aging process that enhances its character.
