The Khotan Carpet originates from the homonymous oasis in the territory of East Turkestan, which has always been a prosperous place both for the fertility of the soil and for the location, a strategic reference point for the Silk Road, which is why the textile activity has long been practiced over the years. Fair general condition with signs of wear, to be noted in the photo.
