Description: Antique Louis Philippe Neapolitan desk in mahogany feather with chiselled leather top belonging to the first half of the 19th century. The top has a leather covering chiseled with 24kt gold surrounded by a mahogany feather edge. The front is punctuated by five drawers embellished with bone escutcheons, including the large one surmounted by a leather-covered desk. The feet have a curvilinear shape embellished with a leaf motif carving and joined by mixtilinear crosspieces. The opposite face appears to be a mirror image of the main one. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method. Provenance: Naples 19th century. Measurements: 145x72 H80cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
