Chest of drawers in walnut with drawer at the top that is secret, so it has no handles and is less spacious. The other three are exposed, have sophisticated bronze handles and are much more spacious, also in bronze are the decorations that finish the two columns. Very particular and elaborate is that of the lock with flowers and a cherub head. The upper floor consists of a black and white marble slab with strong grains (certainly from the Apuan Alps Italy), the lock mechanism and the key are original. During the Restoration period and shortly after, the rich empire style became more linear, delicate, and contained in the measures of the furniture, this chest of drawers is a characteristic example. Made in France in 1870.
