Mahogany sail table, the wood is of exceptional quality and has fascinating veins. The top has a refined oval shape, very original is the leg in solid mahogany, worked in an excellent way with patterns that connect in an elegant and harmonious way, from it four curvilinear feet branch out with pleasant workmanship carved on wood. The feet are equipped with small wheels that allow moving the table with simplicity and comfort. It is very practical for the sail top, (a system designed in England in the Victorian period) which can be positioned vertically where more space is needed. Made in France between 1850 and 1855 in Louis Philippe style. The table is in good condition as it has been completely restored by a skillful and old Florentine master craftsman who uses the ancient techniques to restore the wear and tear caused by time. However, he has left an old antique repair present on the edge of the top (see photo) as it is sure it was made by one of his ancient colleague, and therefore it is part of the history of the table itself.
