Ancient French table dating back to the last decade of the 18th century.
Large in size, it is made entirely of solid walnut wood.
The stiletto legs, the under-counter band with central drawer, the simple and geometric shapes without the typical pomp of the Louis XVI style indicate that the table is from the full directorial period.
The furniture of this historical period is characterized by the history and austerity of the oligarchic directorial government that politically ruled France between the end of the French Revolution and the proclamation of the empire.
The table for sale was certainly used in some canteen, its size is important, its essentiality makes it suitable for any environment and to be combined with any furniture.
As can be seen from the photos, the furniture is in perfect condition, showing some signs of ancient restorations.
The top is made up of adjacent walnut boards except for one, central, oak board.
The structure is very solid and robust.
