Item description

We offer this spectacular Italian wrought iron bed dating back to the first half of the 19th century. This bed features elaborate wrought iron decorations with numerous brass curls, scrolls and knobs. The iron is entirely handmade. Embellished with hand-painted golden ornamental details, it adds a unique visual touch. The bed is in good condition with signs of wear consistent with its age (see all photos). Please note that for an item such as this, any signs of wear are a feature that adds value and distinctiveness. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING DIMENSIONS: This bed is a double bed, but is the so-called "French" size. Its internal measurements are: Width 147cm/57.874inch Depth 199 cm / 78.3465 inches It will therefore be necessary to purchase a standard 140 x 190 cm mattress. Note: the bed will be shipped disassembled; Assembly is not included, but we can provide a video with assembly instructions if required. Please check the internal and external measurements carefully before placing an order. Please note that the slats and mattress are not included.
