Ancient Italian painting from the 17th century. Oil on canvas work depicting a religious subject, Santa Rita da Cascia of excellent pictorial quality. Painting that develops vertically, of beautiful size and proportion, missing a frame. Work representing the nun contemplating a large crucifix. The demeanor of the Saint holding the crucifix in her hands is delicate. The painter is very good at depicting the body of Christ in a naturalistic way. Canvas that shows several signs of aging and small drops of color. Work that has already undergone conservative restoration, relining and replacement of the frame. In fair condition, to be restored or preserved in its beautiful patina.
