Item description

1950s French faience fish dinner service by Paul Fouillen, comprising 12 hand-painted plates, a gravy boat, and a large platter, all featuring whimsical fish motifs in earthy tones on Quimper faience. Paul Fouillen (1899-1958), a renowned Quimper potter, specialized in mid-century handcrafted pottery blending Breton folk art with modernist designs. 12 Plates: 9 3/4" x 7 5/8", one Platter: 20 1/2" x 9 7/8", one gravy boat: 5 1/2"h x 7 3/4"l x 4 1/4"w. Priority given to in-person pickup. Vintage items may show signs of slight wear due to their age.
