Full-length female mannequin, circular hardened glass base, plastic frame
Dating back to the 1980s, it was later reinterpreted as a decorative sculpture through an artistic intervention: the entire surface of the body is in fact covered with cycling images taken from the 1951 weekly magazine Lo Sport. Photographs and articles on Coppi, Bartali and other gowns of the time were applied using the decoupage technique, which in the final result generates a marked collage effect
The result is a unique piece with strong visual impact, suitable for modern interiors, creative spaces, showrooms and shop windows
The mannequin is in excellent condition, with slight marks due to time and use. Arms, hands and torso are removable, making it easier to move and transport. It rests by means of a metal pin on the hardened glass base. The collage decoupage is protected by special transparent paint
