Double-bodied sideboard in solid wood, 17th century Italy, diamond-tipped carved panels.
Italian production, characterized by an imposing structure and rich panel work.
The cabinet is composed of a lower part with doors and drawers and an upper lift with doors, according to a functional typology widespread between the 17th and 18th centuries. The doors are decorated with panels carved in a geometric diamond-point pattern, a distinctive element that gives depth and play of light to the surface.
The construction is solid, with molded cornices and balanced proportions, while the patina of the wood testifies to the passage of time and the authenticity of the object.
The hardware, simple and essential, integrates harmoniously into the structure without altering its historical character. A piece of furniture with a strong presence and authenticity: its diamond-point workmanship and double-body structure make it a significant example of antique Italian furniture, capable of defining the space with character and history.
