Artistic vase made entirely by hand with the double layer glass fusing technique. This piece is part of a limited series from my former glass furniture manufacturing business. Since the company is no longer operational, the remaining examples represent unique, non-recyclable pieces, carefully preserved directly from the archive of the original production. The vase is delivered complete with the original box/packaging.
The technique: The object is made up of a "milk white" glass base decorated by hand in stripes with the refined "remove" grisaille technique. The upper layer of transparent glass seals the decoration, giving the vase a particular depth and shine. The product consists of a front shape and a container applied to the back to form a single body.
Craftsmanship: Manual processing means that each vase has small differences in decoration, a distinctive sign of a handmade and non-industrial product.
Condition: New, never used.
