Iconic domed telephone booth ("bubble" model) original from the 70s/80s, famous for its characteristic "egg" or "bubble" shape: a perfect example of the Space Age style.
This is not the classic heavy road version, but the rare industrial sound-absorbing variant intended for interiors (factories, offices or large switchboards) to isolate the user from the noise of the machinery. The dome shape serves to create an acoustic "shadow cone"; that's why the material is lighter than street cabins: it simply had to deflect sound waves.
The protective dome is made of transparent plexiglass and the supporting structure of resistant thermoformed plastic. The dome is intact and maintains its original transparency (as per photo). The structure is lightweight, ideal for hanging on any wall without heavy supports.
It features the original shaped shelf, perfect for housing a vintage phone or for reuse as an original smartphone/tablet charging station.
The cabin is in excellent vintage condition. It retains all the charm of time with slight signs of wear and small surface marks that attest to its originality and historical use, without compromising its aesthetics or solidity.
