Pair of antique French bistro tables.
Made of wrought iron and foldable, these tables were initially designed for French bistros, small, crowded establishments where space was essential to maximize seating capacity.
Being made of enameled iron, they were ideal for leaving outside, as they resisted rain and other weather elements. The curved, wide legs provided stability even on the cobbled sidewalks of large cities.
The base is hand-forged and wrought iron, and the foldable top is made of sheet metal.
They are hand-enamelled, one in ochre and the other in red.
The tables are completely original.
They open and close very easily using a small pin that locks them into the desired position, and they are also lightweight and easily movable.
These versatile, unique, and original tables tell the story of the French Belle Epoque. Today, they can furnish a corner of your garden or serve as a console table indoors. Wherever you place them, you'll enchant your guests and enrich your spaces with an object that was part of one of Europe's most beautiful and prosperous eras.
